We're Hoan and Jenny, partners in life and business, and our daughter Emmy, Casolena's youngest helper and creative contributor.
Our story
We traded the city for the shoreline.
We came from tech and data careers, chasing a city life that always felt one notch too loud. What we actually wanted was simple: a quiet home by the water, fresh air, natural light. We found it on the Northern Bruce Peninsula and named it Casolena, from Casa del Sole e della Luna, home of the sun and the moon.
Why we host
Your stay is not just a transaction.
We never handed Casolena to a management company. Hoan is the hands-on builder, always fixing, assembling or crafting something. Jenny shapes the home's thoughtfully minimal interiors and cozy touches, drawing on her years of Italian living. Emmy keeps us honest about which room is coziest.
Almost every photo you see on our website, listings and social media was taken by us. Mostly Jenny, while Hoan holds the ladder.
